LA’SHAE

After spending over half a decade working as a social-entrepreneur, La’Shae founded Chief Cultivator Consulting LLC in April of 2021. Being born and raised in Camden, NJ —one of America’s poorest cities— was La’Shae’s initial motivation onto her life journey of Cultivation. Before finding her true purpose, La’Shae studied Nursing at Morgan State University, only to then come to the God-given understanding that her passion to help others was not to be pursued by helping people in a hospital, but to instead be fulfilled by helping people in her hood.
So in 2017, she founded Cultivating Camden, a nonprofit organization with the mission to eradicate poverty in Camden City; by providing its residents with resources that are essential to improving their quality of life and sense of community. As President and CEO, working passionately and purposefully to alleviate poverty advanced La’Shae’s ability to problem solve, strategically plan, critically think and lead with integrity. She gained further experience becoming board Vice President of Genesis Counseling Centers, a 45 year-old organization who believes in the possibility of growth and transformation for every individual. Genesis provides therapeutic support, care and education to aid people in reaching their goals while they manage the symptoms of mental illness, addiction, or other traumas. La’Shae also attained brief experience as a Camden City Council Intern, where there she acquired understanding of providing disadvantaged and underrepresented people, businesses, and communities with support and assistance from a government perspective.
La’Shae’s experience diversify in position—yet still relate in purpose—warranting her ‘Chief Cultivator’ title. She is committed to creating innovative and impactful change that significantly enhance the lives of others. As a Business Consultant and Life Coach she is prepared to recognize and resolve all obstacles that impede the success of people and professionals.
